Route "Visiting a Shaman" (Grade: 2 B)

One of the most mysterious and legendary caves - Kashkulakskaya (Cave of Black Devil). The length of the passages - 820 meters, depth - 49 meters. It is situated in the floodplain of the Bely Iyus river. In ancient times this place was called the "Golden Stream". According to the legend, there shaman of Golden Stream lived. When he died, the local people hung up his clothes on a tree, where spirit of the host mountain lived, and then hid it in the cave. According to local legend, the shaman's clothes after his death should not be left where he lived. Since in this cave the miracles began to work. Some of brave visitors, who ventured get down, told incredible stories.
