Route "Archaeological Cave" (Grade: 1)

The Archaeological Cave is a unique creation of nature, it is located in the Shira district at the base rocky massif, 1 km from the mouth of the Malaya Syya river. Its length - 270 meters, depth - 37 meters.

During cave exploration the remains of ancient man parking were found. He was buried under the fallen arch of cave entrance part. Three campfire were examined, around which the animal bones, pottery, bone harpoon, two bronze arrowheads were found. The cave entrance is low and narrow manhole. The cave belongs to the category of warm, because the air temperature change is characteristic of only entrance parts. In the deep cave parts the air temperature is constant +2, +4 ° C. When warm air leaves a cave, at this time moisture is condensed on a ceiling and, falling on a floor, forms ice stalagmites. These ice sculptures create a fairy land you will never forget.
